At Crawford Architects, we collaborated with a developer and the London Borough of Wandsworth in restoring the Victorian street layout. The objective was to restore a gap in the distinctive Victorian street pattern by constructing 18 family houses and 8 apartments. Our role involved guiding the developer through the planning process to secure approval for the project.

Embracing the essence of the surrounding Victorian London terraces, we meticulously designed the 18 family houses and 8 apartments to fill the gap in the historic street pattern. By aligning with the architectural style of the neighborhood, our structures seamlessly integrate into the suburban landscape of Wandsworth. While honoring the traditional aesthetic, these new homes also deliver modern amenities, offering residents a perfect blend of historic charm and contemporary living.

From the initial concept phase to obtaining planning consent, and through to construction we navigated the project through various stages, ensuring that the development not only meets the regulatory standards but also enriches the local community with valuable new housing options in a prime location.
